Wreaths Across America and its national network of volunteers lays over 7000,000 memorial wreaths at over 1,000 locations in the United States and beyond annually on National Wreaths Across America Day, held each year in December.
Since 2020, the Lone Sailor Division has been honored to participate in the annual ceremony at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, FL. When a Lone Sailor Cadet places a wreath on a veteran's grave on National Wreaths Across America Day, the Cadet will speak that veteran's name aloud, thank them for their service and sacrifice, and reflect on that person and their life.
